Seeing waste as resource is nothing new but making it a resource often is. Consumption keeps growing alongside world´s population leading to a larger and larger pile of waste. Implementing approaches of circular economy will require new solutions for ever-growing waste problem. Cycle4green Release Liner Recycling is one of these solutions. We entirely focus on recycling service for release paper waste counting up to 35% of waste generated in self-adhesive label industry.
Our service together with recycling partners in Austria and Germany creates fully closed material stream from waste paper back to recycled paper products. This is based on an innovative technology in processing silicone-coated waste papers which so far have mainly been disposed of by landfilling or incineration. Our processing technology makes it possible to remove silicone from paper fibers and to reuse it in the production of recycled fine and speciality papers.
Our vision is to bring large share of release liners back for recycling and to create a solution which significantly reduces waste in labelling operations and thereby lowers the carbon footprint of packaging as well. We are excited to see that our unique service has been well accepted by numerous customer in industries varying from label converting to consumer product manufacturing.
